  Reasons to Seek Counseling

  • Feel as if you have no direction in life
  • Pick what seem to be the "wrong" friends
  • Feel stressed out or anxious
  • Don't know how to study
  • Feel like you can't go on
  • Study and do homework, but still see unsatisfactory results
  • Drink heavily or use drugs
  • Feel stressed about being away from home
  • Eat too much or too little
  • Got "As" and "Bs" in high school, but now struggle academically
  • Can't decide on a major
These are examples of reasons students consult the Student Counseling Center. If you are uncertain if you need counseling, a counselor can help you decide.

Take an anonymous screening to see if your symptoms are consistent with depression, bipolar disorder, an alcohol problem, eating disorder, anxiety disorder or post-traumatic stress disorder.
