The Campus Coalition Plan for
Progress
Our goal: To improve academic
success and the quality of
student life on the campus of
Oklahoma State University by
increasing healthy lifestyles
and reducing the harm associated
with alcohol and other drug
abuse. The Campus
Coalition seeks to achieve this
goal through a Statewide
Initiative, a concerted effort
by institutions of higher
education, state government
officials, and community
organizations. These state
partners collaborate to change
aspects of the campus and
community environment that
contribute to high-risk drinking
and other drug use.
The Plan
1. Coordinate training of
campus and community teams for
collaborative problem
identification and solution.
2. Assist campus teams in
improving the development,
implementation and evaluation of
prevention and intervention
programs to reduce substance
abuse.
3. Mobilize key campus and
community members to collaborate
in addressing the problems
associated with substance abuse.
4. Provide net-working
assistance with campus and
community for substance abuse
prevention.
