It is very important for engineers to be able to work together in groups not only with other engineers in their own discipline, but in all of the other disciplines as well. At Oklahoma State University, the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology recognizes this need and has partnered with Residential Life to provide special learning communities where engineers of all kinds can live together. Several floors of Kerr and Drummond Halls have been established specifically for those students majoring in engineering or engineering-related fields. Also, the third and fourth floors of Allen Hall have been set aside for CEAT students. Non-freshman who would like to live in an apartment, but still want to be around other engineers can request to live in a certain wing of Bost Hall.
