Reassigning Values

You can assign new values to elements of a matrix at any time. The following statement creates a 2 ×3 numeric matrix named A.

   a={1 2 3, 6 5 4};
The statement
   a={'Sales' 'Marketing' 'Administration'};
redefines the matrix A as a 1 ×3 character matrix.
