All aspects are host-specific
|
-
no argument
-
toggles the synchronization events reporting between current and future.
-
ON
-
specifies to report synchronization events as they occur.
-
OFF
-
specifies to report synchronization events at a later time.
If X synchronization is on, events are reported as they occur. If X synchronization is off, events are reported at some later
time, such as when you press the RETURN key. X synchronization is off by default. Turning it on is useful when you are debugging applications, although it
drastically reduces performance.
If you do not specify ON or OFF, the XSYNC command toggles the synchronization. You can issue the XSYNC command from any SAS
window.
