Specifies the name of the WORK library

Default: set in the installed !SASROOT/sasv7.cfg file

Valid in: SAS invocation, configuration file, SASV7_OPTIONS environment variable

UNIX specifics: pathname must be a valid UNIX pathname

-WORK pathname

Details

Pathname identifies the directory (not a filename) where your WORK SAS data library can be created or found. SAS will create the directory if it does not exist. You must have write permission to pathname.
