¹ For a detailed list of types of UNIX hosts that SAS releases support, see Supported UNIX Operating Environments and SAS Releases.

CAUTION:
This document covers SAS releases 6.07 through 7. It does not cover SAS releases prior to 6.07. For information about moving a file to or from a release that precedes Release 6.07, see SAS Technical Report P-195, Transporting SAS Files between Host Systems.   [cautend]
CAUTION:
SAS Version 7 does not support the Macintosh, VSE, and Windows 32s hosts. You can move a Version 6 file from any of these hosts to a Version 6 host or to a Version 7 host. However, you cannot move a Version 7 file to any of these hosts.  [cautend]
