DKROCOND=ERROR | WARN | WARNING | NOWARN | NOWARNING

Syntax Description

ERROR: sets the error flag and prints error messages if a variable on a KEEP=, DROP=, or RENAME= option or statement does not exist in the data set.
WARN | WARNING: prints warning messages only.
NOWARN | NOWARNING: does not print warning messages.

Examples

In the following statements, if the variable X is not in data set A and DKRICOND=ERROR, SAS sets the error flag to 1 and displays error messages:

data a;
   drop x;
run;
