Exam Policies:
- Common Final Exams. These exams are reserved for multiple-section or other special exams, and will be scheduled by the Office of the Registrar, after all conditions necessary to qualify for such exams have been met.
- Saturday Classes. Exams for classes meeting on Saturday morning only will be held on the Saturday morning of the exam week at a time determined by the instructor.
- Final Exam Overload. If a student has three or more final exams in one day, the student can request rescheduling. See enrollment information in the front of this schedule book.
- Early Evening and Night classes. Exams for these classes will be held during the final exam week on the day of the week of their regular meeting. Early evening classes begin at 4:00 p.m. or after, but before 6:00 p.m. Night classes begin at 6:00 p.m. or later. All exams will extend for 110 minutes.
- Conflicts will be resolved on the basis of the:
- Credit hours in the courses, with the course carrying the most credit hours taking precedence.
- Time of first class meeting in the week (as printed on the student’s class schedule), with the class meeting first taking precedence.
The time and place of examinations rescheduled because of such conflict will be determined by the instructor.
- Location. With the exception of Common Exams, the location of the exam will be the regular class meeting place.
- Exceptions. Any exceptions to this schedule may be requested by the instructor. Inquire at the Registrar's Office regarding possible consideration and details.
