Sharing Documents with Visitors
Creating a Visitor’s Pass
- From within the MyDesk workspace, click the Visitor’s link.
- Click the Create button.
- Enter a Title and optional Description.
- Click the Save button to create your Visitor’s Pass
- Write down the created Visitor’s Pass code.
Once you have created a Visitor’s Pass, you can assign documents to that pass and share that pass with anyone you choose.
Assigning a Document to a Visitor’s Pass
- From MyDesk, click the title of the document to share with the Visitor’s Pass.
- Click the share link.
- Choose the Advanced Sharing options.
- Choose the Visitor’s tab.
- Choose the drop down menu – Choose Visitor’s-to select your Visitor’s Pass.
- Click Add.
- Choose Return to Portfolio View to confirm the visitor’s pass has been added to your document.
- To confirm, click the share link.
- Under the share button, it should have a viewers section.
- The shared visitor’s pass should be listed as a viewer.
