Confirmation of Placement

Requests are sent to school districts for placements.  After we receive confirmation of the placement, you will receive a confirmation letter.  Once we have received confirmation, your assignment is tentative until you complete all pre-clinical practice program requirements.

Possible reasons for a rejected placement request are:

1. The teacher cannot serve as a cooperating teacher that semester.
2. The teacher does not have at least three years of successful teaching experience in Oklahoma schools.
3. The teacher is already serving as a cooperating teacher.
4. The school/district cannot accept any more student teachers for that semester.
