Why a General Workout for Fiscally Fit?
The program provides new and prospective administrative support staff with information to manage fiscal functions
in the office environment. The program is recommended for both experienced and entry level office staff who are
looking to increase their contribution to meeting unit objectives. Whatever an administrative support staff member
needs in order to complete daily and monthly fiscal tasks will be provided through the
General Workout for Fiscally Fit Program
How Does the Program Work?
Several topics have been identified and posted on the training website. Classes will be 1 ½ to 3 hours in length.
More topics may be added as the program grows. To receive a Certificate for the
General Workout for Fiscally Fit Program, one must have completed 30 hours within a
two year time frame. Not all employees share the same responsibilities; therefore, they may pick and choose from
the topics offered to complete the 30 hours of training. Allowing the staff member to choose the topics helps them
to design a program that best fits their department needs.
A Maintenance Program will offer graduates an opportunity to stay abreast of fiscal
responsibilities upon graduation of the General Workout for Fiscally Fit Program.
Graduates who take an additional 15 hours of training will receive a certificate of continuing education through
the Maintenance Program.
