Members Present:  Blackburn, Harrison, Lehenbauer, Payne, Reed, Stromberg, and Wilguess

Members Absent:  Brooks, Fox, Henderson, Morris, Poole, Harrison

Ad Hoc, Ex Officio members and Guests Present:  Wells,  Purdie.

Motion to approve the agenda was made by Payne, seconded by Wilguess.  Passed

Motion to approve the minutes of the Oct. 15 meeting  was made by Harrison and seconded by Stromberg. Passed. The to approve as corrected the minutes of Nov. 14 meeting was made by Stromberg and seconded by Harrison. Passed.

Wells distributed a survey of health insurance premiums in the Big 12.  This will be helpful during future discussion about healthcare.

Wilguess presented a powerpoint presentation detailing the proposed Cafeteria Plan approved by this committee and sent forward to administration in March.  This presentation will be the basis for the campus review process.  Wilguess reported that the committee is still looking into the paid leave issue in conjunction with the cafeteria plan.  However, no recommendation should be expected anytime soon.

The motion to accept the committee’s report and its transmittal letter for presentation to campus groups and publication on the web site was made by Payne and seconded by Stromberg.  Passed.

Wells distributed copies of the website and asked for suggestions.  She wondered if perhaps the committee should be managing it rather than Human Resources.

Tentative next meeting date set at Tuesday Dec. 17, 2002.

Motion to adjourn was made by Reed, and seconded by Harrison.
