Those present:  David Peters (chair), Barbara Wells, Bob Oehrtman, Fran Stromberg, Bob Reed, Billy Blackburn, Darrel Kletke, Anne Matoy, Steve Smethers, Greg Fox, Robin Purdie

1. Motion to approve agenda by Bob Oehrtman, second Fran Stromberg
2. Approve minutes of last meeting
1. June meeting minutes were not available, possibly available at next meeting
3. Introduction of new members
1. Steve Smethers, Billy Blackburn, Darrel Kletke
4. Update on committee restructuring
1. Flexible Compensation Benefits Committee charge and representation material given to committee members for review.
2. Anne Matoy pointed out changes from previous document
5. Establish Task Forces
1. David Peters described possible task forces to target specific issues.  Recommendations for the following task forces to be formed:  Retirement, Health/Medical/Dental/Vision, Miscellaneous (Life and Disability Ins., Leave)  Matoy asked that committee be “issue driven”.
2. Volunteers for task forces:

                                                               i.      Retirement:  Billy Barfield (chair), Bob Oehrtman, Greg Fox, Darrel Kletke, Fran Stromberg, John Dalton

                                                             ii.      Health/Medical/Vision/Dental:  John Wilguess (chair), Bob Reed, Billie Blackburn, Barbara Wells, Robin Purdie

1. Barbara Wells and Anne Matoy disseminated documents on State Insurance plan rate changes effective Jan.1, 2002 and Employer/Benefit costs (attachment)
