- Claim history for OSU and OSU system (2000-2003)
- Questions were raised regarding what data were included in the
“claims” column. Where is overhead accounted for?
- American Fidedlity has presented a plan to HR for a “Smart Card”
for standard Flex benefit withdrawals. The contract with AF has been
on a year-to-year basis.
- Long Term Disability
- Overview presented with 2005 recommendations.
- Option 1 presented with a 10% increase
- Option 2 presented with a 21% increase and guarantees premiums
for 2 years.
- Motion to accept option 1 by Brad Barnes, second by Terry
Lehenbauer

Retirement (RIOS) Subcommittee
- Carol Moder explained recommendations/handouts from RIOS
- Recommendation #1: “RIOS recommends to FCBC that OSU accept all
33 funds on the attached list for all (three) categories of
retirement accounts available at OSU.
- Recommendation #2: “RIOS recommends to FCBC that OSU designate
the Lifecycle funds as the default retirement vehicle, to replace
Money Market fund, for employees not specifying a retirement plan
preference at the time of hiring.”
- Motion by Terry Lehenbauer to accept RIOS recommendations,
second: Fran Stromberg

- Report from Bob Oehrtman on tuition waivers for employees
- Prospectus presented based on current number of Payne county
students enrolled
- Discussion and committee decided to have formal recommendation
ready for August meeting.
- Health Care
- Terry Lehenbauer presented minutes from subcommittee meeting
dated, June 27, 2005.
- Dr. Lehenbauer also presented, “Recommendations for Enhancing
Wellness & Health Care for Employees of OSU.”
- Moving forward: HR will provide some descriptive demographic data
and the subcommittee will meet again for further discussion and
formal recommendation by August general meeting. Further historical
claims information is also needed from OSEEGIB. The committee will
try to obtain that information before next meeting.
