Retirement Taskforce.  Most presentations have been given.  The retirement recommendation has been sent forward to the administration.

Matoy met with Robert White, the university’s legislative advisor about the OTR bill.  While it could pass this year, it is more likely to pass next year.  The bill is at the point of appointing a conference committee.  Senator Morgan is concerned that passing the tuition bill may have cost some votes.

Cafeteria Taskforce.  The committee is still without a chair.  There has been no response about the possibility of a presentation to Faculty Council.

The Maternity Family Leave recommendation sent to administration by SAC and endorsed by FC was sent to the committee by administration for review.  A motion was made by Payne and seconded by Cooper to recommend the implementation of this proposal.

Announcements.  A recommendation has passed through SAC and FC to add MLK day as a university holiday.

Motion to adjourn was made by Payne and seconded by Henderson.  Passed.
