Purpose
The purpose of the OSU Vietnamese American Student Association (VASA) scholarship is to assist
VASA members in completing their higher education efforts and to recognize and reward
academically superior performance, achievements, leadership, and community involvement. VASA
scholarships are available on a competitive basis to undergraduate and graduate students.
Eligibility
Applicants must be attending Oklahoma State University as full-time students and be a paid member of
the Vietnamese American Student Association. A full-time student must be carrying a minimum of twelve
credit hours. A full-time graduate student must be carrying a minimum of six credit hours.
Awards and Selection Process
This year's awards consists of a $500 Freshman Scholarship and a $500 Continuing Student Scholarship.
The awards are to be distributed to the students' Bursar account at the beginning of the following
academic year. VASA scholarship winners are selected by a committee, which evaluates applicants on
the information provided below.

VASA reserves the right to modify eligibility requirements, number and amount of scholarships,
and the selection process on a year-to-year basis.
