3/29/03: Meeting on Wednesday
First, I would like to welcome all of our
new members to Tau Beta Pi-OKG! We had
a large number of new initiates, 46 in
all. We hope to see many of you stay
active in TBP. About the meeting on
Wednesday: I do not know all the specifics
yet, but we will be holding officer
         elections.
3/26/03: Member Initiation Ceremony
The initiation ceremony for all of our new

3/07/03: More Updates:
As far as I can tell the remodeling of the
website is complete. The relative positioning
format has been completely implemented. Also,
some excess code was scrapped. More updates
will come soon. I am planning on having a
section devoted to officers and also some
         background history.
3/05/03: Website Updates
Since I am caught up with my homework, that
is until Friday, I have continued the quest
to make the greatest TBP website ever. Today
I have changed the links on the left sidebar
so that the photos link no longer takes you
to another page which you would have to load.
Now, when you want to see the pictures the
newsbox hides and the photos appear above the
background. The pictures only load when you
click 'District' so that you can view them.
This means load times are not increased if
you just want to look at the news. I have
also added captions to the pictures. Updates
still to come: alter display for 800 x 600
         screens and screens above 1024 x 768.
P.S. We are up to about 650 lines of code
         including text:)
3/02/03: Website Updates
As you can see I have made a few major
updates to the website this weekend. First,
the relative positioning format has been
         implemented for a 1024 x 768 screen size.
Next, the Photos page is online and you can
view a slideshow of our trip to Lincoln, Neb.
I finally added the translucent sidebar to
the left menu. You can see this if your mouse
moves over the word 'Photos'. I also added a
loading picture that allows you to view the
page after it has been correctly positioned
and the webpage statistics have been updated.
Most of the load time incurred is because data
is being sent to Stats4All so they can compile
data about visitors and hits etc. Also, we
are not collecting any personal information
from you, just recording number of hits. More
updates will come this week, mostly tweaking
of already existing content. If you have any
         feedback, questions, comments, answers.....
feel free to email me, Alex, at alexe@okstate.edu
2/27/03: New Member Fees Due Today
I believe the new member fees, which were
$60 last year for a lifetime membership to

paid and still would like to join, you can
contact Jill Long by e-mail: Jilwhitney@aol.com
or at (405)533-3167. Also, I will be making
updates to the webpage this weekend. This
includes a new "relative" positioning format
for layers, and some photos from the District
         Conference will be available.

2/08/03: I have been working some on the sidebars
If you are using Internet Explorer and move
your mouse along the bar at the left of the
screen you will notice some nice image effects
I will decide what links will go there soon
Check back for more updates! Also, dont
         forget the upcoming District Conference
on the 21st-22nd of February. Be there.
2/04/03: I have spent some time trying to create this
scrolling textbox for Netscape Navigator and
Internet Explorer. I am still having problems
specifying the scrollbars in NN4. This page
may throw errors if you use Netscape 6 or
above. The links on the side will be added
soon along with their corresponding pages.
But, first I will complete this main/news
         page.
2/02/03: Today the Tau Beta Pi homepage for OSU has been
created. This page is in its early stages and
will be updated when I have some more time. In
the future you will be able to access photos,
         events, informational links,member information,
contact information and other details. My name
is Alex and will be updating this site fairly
often. If you have any questions feel free to
         email me at: alexe@okstate.edu
