Beta Social Life

Social life at OSU can be a very fun experience. For the Beta's there are three annuals parties first semester and two new parties every second semester.

Turkey Pull is our formal party and it is the biggest party of the year. We charter three busses and leave early on a Friday afternoon to go on an all weekend party out of state. Last year we went to Branson, Missouri and in the years past we have gone to Kansas City, Hot Springs, and Tantera. Memories from Turkey Pull will stay with you forever in you memories of your fraternity experience.

Barndance is another party we have first semester. This is an annual party where the brothers and there dates dress up country western style. The highlight for Barndance is usually the mechanical bull we rent for the night. Barndance has long been a tradition with our chapter and will continue to be in the future.

In addition to the parties we have function every two to three weeks with other fraternities and sororities. Pledges will also take out a different sorority pledge class every week. This is a good way for freshman to meet and get to know each other. We here at Beta feel that building lasting friendships early on in your college career will only help you in your future campus endeavors.
