The Gamma Lambda Betas have been here at OSU since 1923. We are the oldest college fraternity on campus. The tradition is strong in the Beta House, many men have live within the confounds of 1207 West University. There are over sixty men who currently live in the Beta House. Over the last seventy-five years there have been thousands were the letters
"Again the Beta is distinguished from all other kinds of fraternity men whatsoever by just a little warmer and stronger, just a little tenderer and more enduring fraternity feeling than any of them can attain to. For it was always so. I do not on the least know how it happened nor why it persisted after it happened, but a long time ago there came into Beta Theta Pi a fraternity spirit that was, and is, and apparently will continue to be, unique."
