Description: The summer international travel program is designed to provide students with a direct experience in built environment. Peru provides the grounds for studying Inca and Spanish colonial and modern design as well as providing unique examples of pre-Columbian site design. Native American ruins in the country will provide a rich landscape for studying pre-Columbian, colonial and vernacular Pervian design and urbanism.

The regular exchange program for three hours of credit will consist of maintaining a daily journal, or do directed research on a topic or participate in UPC studio classes. Field trips and lectures will be conducted by the tour leader or local professionals.
