Project Success

The Afro-American Student Association on the campus of Oklahoma State University, announces the Sixth Annual Project SUCCESS Program.  This event is scheduled for Monday, November 8, 1999 at 8:00 a.m. in the Student Union. Please do not confuse this program with the "Multicultural Day" program sponsored by High School and College Relations.  Project Success targets African American Student while Multicultural Day targets all ethnic minority students.

Project SUCCESS is a special recruitment/ community outreach program that targets high school and junior and seniors. The purpose of the program is to prepare and equip you for the next level, which is college. The program will begin with a college browse session followed by workshops, scholarship, financial aid information, and a keynote speaker. Highlights of the day will be the speaker, as will as a dynamic Greek Stepshow.

The program, in its sixth year, continues to strive for excellence; it is planned, organized, and implemented by students of the Afro-American Student Association. Founders of the program saw a need to educate high school students with skills and information concerning an effective way to successfully apply to college. It is our hope that you will strongly consider higher education.
