Jari Barnett

Jari joined The Honors College as an academic advisor in May 2007. While at OSU, Jari earned her Honors College Degree in History, studied abroad for a year in Spain as a Bailey Scholar, and participated in the National Collegiate Honors Council semester “Image and Reality” focused on the culture and geology of the Colorado Plateau and the Grand Canyon. Jari earned her juris doctor with a certificate in American Indian Studies, but returned to OSU last spring with a firm belief that honors education presents unique opportunities for undergraduates. Jari hopes to use her experience and enthusiasm for education to aid students achieve excellence during their time at OSU and in The Honors College.
