Planning for the future requires you to be present at the April meeting!

Click here for Minutes of February National Coalition on Mental Health and Aging Meeting.

The Oklahoma Mental Health and Aging Coalition will be entering a period or reorganization, needs evaluation, goal setting, developing a new mission statement and long range planning beginning at the February 11, 2003 meeting.  You are encouraged to bring with you a list of stakeholders you believe should be involved with our coalition.  Your attendance at the February meeting will assure your  concerns are considered in this planning.  There is room for everyone in the circle but most importantly, we need our consumer members to be present and heard.  As the budget short-falls continue and service provision is challenged, our advocacy in needed more now than ever before.  The National Coalition on Mental Health and Aging will be addressing these same concerns at it's February meeting in Washington, DC as this is a national problem and not just something we are experiencing here in Oklahoma.  Plan now to attend and assist with our strategy session.
