Procedures
1. Drive to the site.
2. Level the trailer by front left-right controls on Geoprobe
3. Turn on Geoprobe and pull down on lever to position
4. Level Geoprobe
5. Pull down depth reader cord to measure the depth attained.
6. Turn on generator and plug in FC4000 Field Instrument to
generator, depth reader, and to the pipe's cord.
7. Put sonde with first pipe in place under Geoprobe head and
it's ready to be "pushed" into the ground.
8. Turn on display. The display will then ask you to
punch in a series of numbers to let it know the type of instrument being
used (SC 400), the length of rods being used (4ft), and the company the
product is made by (Wenner)
9. Push sonde into ground until nodes are just at the surface.
10. On the display hit "Trigger On" to start depth
meter record.
11. You can now begin to take readings from the display, which are in
real time.
