Institutional Nominees to the OSRHE Academic Scholar Program at Oklahoma State University
Oklahoma State University may nominate a very limited number of resident and nonresident new freshmen for the Academic Scholar Program of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE). OSU offers a very competitive scholarship package to these students, known as Institutional Nominees. All freshmen who apply for admission/scholarships at OSU, and who are nominated by OSU are guaranteed the following cash and tuition scholarships once they are confirmed as Academic Scholars by OSRHE.
$11,200 OKLAHOMA ACADEMIC SCHOLARS PROGRAM
- $2,800 per year ($1,400 per semester) cash scholarship for four years;
- Funds are used to pay for books, fees, housing, etc., up to $1,400 per semester;
- Enroll as a full-time student at OSU;
- Maintain a 3.25 cumulative graduation/retention GPA;
- Earn 24 credit hours by the end of the spring term each year;
- Funded by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
TUITION SCHOLARSHIP (Estimated $19,700 for Oklahoma Residents and $51,775 for Nonresidents)
- Oklahoma resident Institutional Nominees receive a full waiver of resident tuition charges from Oklahoma State University for up to five years. Waives 100% of resident tuition charges;
- Nonresident Institutional Nominees receive a full waiver of the nonresident portion of their tuition charges from Oklahoma State University for up to five years. Nonresidents must pay the resident portion of their tuition charges;
- The actual value of the tuition scholarship will vary depending on existing tuition rates and the number of hours in which the student enrolls;
- Enroll as a full-time student at OSU;
- Maintain a 3.00 cumulative graduation/retention GPA;
- Earn 24 credit hours by the end of the spring term each year.

*Scholarships awarded by other offices or organizations may be added to this total package, increasing your total scholarship award up to the cost of attendance at OSU (A student may have only one tuition scholarship in effect at any time).
