Residency Status Changes

My residency status was changed from Oklahoma resident to nonresident during the time I was receiving a resident undergraduate tuition waiver scholarship. What impact will that have on my tuition waiver?

You must be classified as an Oklahoma resident student to receive a tuition waiver scholarship (and many cash scholarships) restricted to Oklahoma residents. If your residency status is changed to nonresident, you lose your eligibility for a resident tuition waiver scholarship (and many cash scholarships).

In that case, come to the scholarships unit in 213 Student Union or call us at 405-744-7541. We may (repeat: may) be able to switch you to a nonresident tuition waiver depending on your academic credentials upon initial entry to OSU, your academic performance since starting at OSU, the number of years you have received the resident waiver, available funding, and other factors.
