The application deadline for submitting the Scholarship Application for Continuing and Readmitted Undergraduates is February 1 each year. The application is available online at www.okstate.edu/finaid/ and is normally available no later than the previous December 1.

Currently enrolled students should contact their colleges/academic departments to find out when and how to apply for scholarships offered by the colleges and departments. The application deadlines and processes for those scholarships are not uniform across campus; be sure to contact your college/department to find out your college's/department's application deadline and process.

I am a new incoming freshman student. What is my deadline for applying for scholarships?

The application deadline for new freshmen who first start attending OSU in the fall term is the previous February 1. The application deadline for new freshmen who first start attending OSU in the spring term is the previous October 15.

I am a new incoming undergraduate transfer student. What is my deadline for applying for scholarships?

The application deadline for new transfer students who first start attending OSU in the fall term is February 1. The application deadline for new transfer students who first start attending OSU in the spring term is October 15.

I missed the application deadline for scholarships awarded by the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid. May I still apply?

The scholarship application for new freshmen and new transfer students has been combined with the undergraduate admissions application into one, combined admission/scholarship application. Thus, when you apply for admission to OSU, you are also applying for scholarships at OSU. HOWEVER, if your admission/scholarship application is received by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions after the deadlines described above, the chances you will be awarded a scholarship may be reduced-perhaps considerably or even eliminated entirely. We may (repeat: may) make awards to late applicants, depending on the availability of unclaimed funds, if any. If selected for an award, the office making that scholarship offer will contact you. However, you must understand that first consideration for scholarship opportunities will go to on-time applicants.

The academic department and/or college through which you intend to earn your graduate degree will determine the application deadline for its graduate student scholarships. Contact your academic department and/or college to inquire about its application deadline(s).
