  • FAFSA on the Web- Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) via the internet using FAFSA on the Web, from the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Financial Aid Estimation Form- This calculator uses the Federal Need Analysis Methodology to calculate an accurate estimate of Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and financial need.
  • fastWEB Scholarship Search- A really good, free scholarship search program (for non-OSU scholarships). Students are provided with an electronic mailbox they can check periodically, and online form letters for use in communicating with scholarship agencies.
  • Get Smart about your Money - Provides an on-line resource library of budgeting information and offers a step-by-step format for developing a budget.
  • Savings Plan Designer- Shows you how much money you must contribute each month to an interest-bearing bank account or investment fund in order to reach your savings goals.
  • Student Loan Calculator- Lets students calculate the amount of debt they can afford to incur, based on their anticipated income after graduation. (From the College Board.)
  • Parent Debt Calculator- Lets parents calculate the amount they can afford to borrow through the Federal Parent Loan Program. (From the College Board.)
  • Loan Interest Capitalization Calculator - This calculator computes an estimate of the accrued interest and the new loan balance at the end of the deferment period and shows the impact of capitalization on the total amount paid over the lifetime of the loan.
