| Meet Susan Bigheart |
| Emeriti's New Face |
Susan Bigheart is the “new face” of the OSU Emeriti Association. She has been hired to work in the OLLI/Emeriti office in the OSU Alumni Center.
She will be working half-time divided equally between OLLI and the Emeriti Association. She is already on the job, however, details regarding parts of her work assignments are being formulated. She is answering the phone and e-mail messages. More information about job assignments will be forthcoming.
Susan received a B.S. degree in Nutrition in 2003 from OSU. Her family includes her husband Ed, and sons Beau, Brandon, and Brady. She can be reached at 744-5868 for OLLI or 744-5263 for the Emeriti Association or emeriti@okstate.edu

Individual annual dues will be $25, couple annual dues will be $35, individual lifetime membership will be $200 and couple lifetime membership will be $250.

Jail Tour-- The jail tour still on hold due to construction delays. This tour will be arranged at the last minute. So, if you are interested , contract Jack Stout at 372-6966 to get on the call list.
CHRISTMAS MYSTERY - Dec. 18 & 19. Advertised as "WONDERFUL"
$269 per person/dbl occup. A $50 Deposit is due ASAP. This trip will fill quickly as mystery trips always

Twenty-two Emeriti members provided 83 volunteer hours to the Alumni Association during September.

| In Memoriam |
Hiram Henderson Henry 1918 - 2008 |
Henry received a BFA in Insrumental Music in 1940 at OK A&M.
He enlisted in the Navy in 1942. During the war he was with the Seabee Band in VA and then an instructor at the Navy School of Music in Washington, D.C.
In 1946 Mr. Henry received a MA at USC. That year, he returned to OK A&M in the instrumental music dept. He was promoted to full professor in 1967. Through the years, he directed an all girls band, the Marching Band, and Concert Bands and taught low brass and percussion.
He was the conductor for 33 years of the summer concert band at Theta Pond which inspired the Stillwater Community Band concerts. He retired in 1981. Among the many, many honors he received were election to the OK Music Educators Hall of Fame and "A tribute to Mr. Hiram Henry" presented through a series of events.
