An important mission of the OSU Emeriti Association is to provide ongoing connections between the University and its retirees to the benefit of both. Volunteer opportunities range from hosting duties
during new student orientation to docent activities in the new Alumni Center to service on University and Faculty committees.
Alumni Center Docents:
The Emeriti Association is assembling a group of volunteers who will greet visitors to the new Conoco/
/Phillips OSU ALumni Center and conduct guided tours. Emeriti volunteers will also staff the new suite of offices in the Alumni Center, organizing mailings for the new Lifelong
learning initiative and helping to connect former students with reitred faculty members. For more information, contact Larry Perkins.
Committee Service:
Numerous faculty and university committees benefit from the experience and service of Emeriti members. And all retirees benefit from the input retired colleagues offer to
