What is a listserv?
A listserv is essentially an electronic mailing list of email addresses of people interested in a certain topic or specific area of interest.
The College of Education (COE) listservs are "moderated." What does that mean?
Email messages sent to all 4 listservs are first directed to the list owner to make sure the topic and body of the message is appropriate for the listerv. If the message is off-topic for the moderated list, it will be sent back to the author with an explanation of the difference of the two lists.

How do I get on a COE listserv?
You need to contact COE Technology at coetech@okstate.edu. You will be signed onto the appropriate listerv.

What kind of messages are allowed on the COE listservs?
Only messages directly relating to business of the College of Education are allowed to be sent on the COE listservs. Please take into consideration that staff and faculty outside Willard and at OSU-Tulsa receive email from the listervs when making announcements. The only fundraising information that is allowed on the COE Faculty, Staff, and GA listservs is United Way.
The COE bulletin board listserv is designed to be used for notices of events that are not business related. For example, announcements of bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties and charity drives can be placed here. However, for profit announcements are not appropriate for this site.

Address your email to one, or all, of five listservs.

Can I send attachments with my message?
You can attach zipped documents, MS Word or PDF documents to an e-mail message to a listserv.

Can I reply to messages on the listserv I'm subscribed to?
Replies to messages sent are not allowed on this list, and will not be approved when sent. It is reccommended that if you desire to reply to the sender check the emaill return address and send your reply directly to that person.
