Admission
to an OSU College of Education graduate program with adherence to
the established program criteria.
-
Three
(3) years of full-time employment with Sapulpa Public Schools. Employment
records will be verified.
-
Submissions
of official transcripts from all previous college work both undergraduate
and graduate if applicable.

Submission
of a completed Fellowship application to the OSU-Tulsa Office of Financial
Aid by Oct. 31 for Spring and June 1 for Fall.

Submission
of two (2) letters of recommendation by Oct. 31 for Spring and June
1 for Fall.

Degree
programs in science and math are not eligible for this Fellowship
due to the availability of federal funding supporting these areas.

Applicant
must meet ALL eligibility requirements.

Applicants
may be selected contingent upon program acceptance; however, an alternate
will also be selected in order to insure the award is made.

Priority
will be given to applicants who demonstrate superior academic performance
as well as those who have demonstrated financial need.
Criteria for
Continuing the Fellowship Each Semester
Disbursement of funds each semester during the award year is contingent
upon satisfactory progress toward the completion of degree requirements.
The following criteria define satisfactory progress:

Continue
full-time teaching employment with Sapulpa Public Schools.

Maintain
a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 in all course work attempted
with not grade below "C" or "P".

Enroll
in a minimum of six (6) hours during each academic year (fall, spring,
and summer).
Number, Amount
and Term of Fellowship

A
total of two (2) $1000 fellowships are available with each award year
beginning with the fall 2001 semester.

An
award year is defined as an academic year (September to August). Fellowships
will be awarded on an annual basis at the beginning of each academic
year and may be utilized during the fall, spring and summer terms.

Fellowship
funds are dispersed directly into the student's bursar's account.

Disbursement
is contingent upon satisfying minimum enrollment criteria. Fellowship
funds may be applied only to tuition, books and fees. Any unused funds
at the end of the year are reclaimed by the OSU Foundation and reinvested
into the endowment's corpus.
Termination of
Fellowship Award
The fellowship will be terminated if:

The
student is academically suspended during the award year;

The
student is ruled in-admissible to an eligible degree program after
the award of the Fellowship;

The
student fails to meet Criteria for Continuing the Fellowship Each
Semester (see above);

Exception
to termination due to unusual circumstances will be considered on
a case-by case basis and determined by the OSU Tulsa Office of Financial
Aid.
