Research Interests
Dr. Pettit has a variety of research interests. They include health risk behaviors, health disparities, and health literacy. Additionally, she is interested in stress/coping and professional preparation.
Current Projects
Dr. Pettit is currently working on a project involving perceived emotional intelligence, stress, coping, and health habits of college students. Additionally, she is pursuing a grant with Drs. Miller and Peabody regarding identification of techniques for assessing physical activity and dietary intake.
