|
U.S. News and World Report has ranked the OSU College of Education's Occupational Education graduate program among the best in the nation. The publication chose seven university programs to appear on its list of Best Educational School Specialty Rankings in the Technical/Vocational category. OSU landed the seventh spot after previously ranking No. 9 or 10 for a period of more than five years. Rankings are based on factors such as research record and reputation of faculty and graduate students.
The occupational education program is housed in the COE's School of Teaching and Curriculum Leadership. Faculty who teach in the program include Dr. Lynna Ausburn (associate professor), Dr. Belinda McCharen (associate professor and Tuttle Endowed Chair of Occupational Education), Dr. Mary Jo Self (associate professor), Dr. Ji Hoon Song (assistant professor) and Dr. Floyd Ausburn (adjunct instructor).
