For the third straight year the Oklahoma State University College of Education (COE) has partnered with Eskimo Joe's to create a shirt to celebrate teachers. Unveiled on April 6 at the College's annual Celebration of Teaching event, the 2009 shirt is Carolina blue and features the slogan, "Teachers Encourage, Inspire and Enlighten" on the front and "Start a Wave, Make a Difference: Teachers Power the Wave of Discovery" on the back.

A percentage of the proceeds from each shirt sold are donated to the COE and the Stillwater Public Education Foundation (SPEF). To date, shirts sales have generated more than $15,000 to endow a scholarship for a future teacher at OSU. In addition, SPEF has also received more than $15,000 to support a number of projects.
