The class is open to any current Oklahoma State University student.
- PGA Professionals/Instructors Pat Jenkins and Ken Morgan
- A PGA of America College initiative.
- Designed to teach and improve the golf skills of students through instruction and to suggest ways in which students can use golf as a business tool in the professional world.
- Program is due to a contribution from Scott Verplank-PGA Member, Ryder Cup Team Member, and OSU Alum.
Course Goals:
- To develop an appreciation and knowledge of golf history and origin.
- To perform golf skills (full swing, pitching, chipping and putting) with proficiency.
- To enjoy and appreciate golf’s contributions to personal exercise and pleasure.
- Learn and apply golf terminology, rules, and etiquette.
- To play a 9-hole round of golf.
- To use safety precautions on the practice area and golf course.
- Create the desire and skills so students can become avid golfers.
Enrollment is limited to 20 students in each section.
