Only those who are admitted to the MSETM Program as Degree Candidates may enroll in MSETM related courses.  For more information about becoming a MSETM student please visit our Admissions Page.

Current students who wish to enroll may follow these steps.

1. Prepare a schedule by
checking the official MSETM Course Schedule.

2. If needed, contact the MSETM Program Office for Academic Advising.
Contact Brenda Johnson, MSETM Asst. Director, if you have any questions regarding appropriate courses to take for your plan of study -- by phone 405-744-2337 or email at brendaj@okstate.edu.  Students must have a Plan of Study on file before enrolling in their 17th credit hour.   Current students may wish to download the Plan of Study Worksheet Excel file and use it to plan their program.

3. Choose an enrollment method.

At OSU there are three methods students can use to enroll in classes.  Depending on your location, you may have more than one option.

  • OUTREACH ENROLLMENT
To enroll in courses through 2-way interactive videoconferencing at a corporate or public site (other than OSU-Tulsa) or by videotape or CDRom students should choose OUTREACH ENROLLMENT.

Students  may choose videoconferencing if it is available at their corporate site. Most remote sites make videotapes of the course as it is being delivered so a backup tape will be available to you if you miss class. Students enrolling by videoconferencing should not expect to be able to request a copy of a class they missed if their site has a copy.

If videotape or CDRom enrollment is chosen the course materials  will be sent directly to the address indicated on the registration form unless otherwise indicated. To request an alternate delivery location contact Rose Mangold, Engineering Outreach Program Assistant,  at 405-744-5148 or mangold@okstate.edu

  • TULSA ENROLLMENT
To enroll in a live or two-way interactive course at OSU-Tulsa you should use TULSA ENROLLMENT. Brenda Johnson, Asst. Director,  holds advising hours in Tulsa at various times throughout the semester.  To schedule an appointment contact Brenda directly.  Students may also wish to consult with Dr. Paul Rossler,  Director who has an office at OSU-Tulsa and can be reached at 918-594-8289.

  • SECTIONING ENROLLMENT
To enroll for a live or two-way interactive video course at the main OSU campus in Stillwater you should choose SECTIONING ENROLLMENT.

NOTE: It is perfectly acceptable to mix delivery methods within a semester.  For example a student who normally enrolls at OSU-Tulsa may decide that during a particular semester that it would be too difficult to make it to campus twice a week so they may choose to enroll in one class through Tulsa Enrollment and one through Extension Enrollment.
