MKTG 5133 - Marketing Management     CANCELLED

Prerequisite: Admission to the MSETM program or consent of instructor
Students may take only one of the two courses: MKTG 5973 or MKTG 5133 (unless one is taken as an MSETM technical elective) This course develops analytical skills for designing and implementing strategies for target markets by understanding (1) marketing concepts, (2) relationships among marketing environments and business opportunities, and (3) global competitors and competitive strategies.

• Understanding basic marketing concepts and domestic and global competitive environments
• Integrating marketing strategy as a lead component of business strategy
• Using domestic and international opportunities for business growth
• Integrating product, price, promotion, and distribution as components of marketing strategy
• Adapting marketing strategy across borders and globally
• Identifying market opportunities and designing successful strategies using analytical skills
