MS Plan of Study Steps

The Plan of Study must be submitted to the Graduate College prior to the completion of 17 credit hours of graduate course work.

1. Download the Plan of Study form from
http://gradcollege.okstate.edu/download/plansforms.htm

2. Prepare a preliminary Plan of Study.

3. Meet with your faculty advisor.

4. Complete a draft Plan of Study with the assistance of your advisor and identify potential committee members.

5. Meet with the potential committee members to determine their willingness to serve on your committee.

6. Complete the Plan of Study document. Proof the Plan of Study. Send a copy to paulette.lauer@okstate.edu as an e-mail attachment.

7. Sign at the bottom of the first page.

8. Obtain your advisor’s signature on the Plan of Study.

9. Obtain signatures from other committee members.

10. Take the signed original to Paulette. Paulette will make 2 duplex copies.

11. Take the original to 202 Whitehurst (Graduate College). Paulette will place one copy in your departmental file. The second copy is for you.
