INDUSTRIAL ASSESSMENT CENTER (IAC) is funded by the US Department of Energy (DOE) through the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.

The Industrial Technologies Program launched the Save Energy Now initiative to help American businesses, factories, and manufacturing facilities save energy and continue to thrive during this time of diminished supplies and rising energy costs. Energy supply disruptions caused by hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and recent hikes in energy prices, are impacting everyone in the United States, including the nation's industrial sector.

Save Energy Now is part of a national campaign unveiled by Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman to highlight easy ways for Americans to save energy now and throughout this winter, when prices are expected to remain high. This initiative will provide U.S. industry with technical assistance and information to save energy and money and increase productivity right now.
