CLGT
serves as the chapter office for the Oklahoma Chapter of the American
Public Works Association (APWA). CLGT and APWA entered into an educational
and training partnership in 1993. Services from CLGT include assistance
in planning the annual Oklahoma Technical Conference, producing a semi-annual
newsletter, and delivering workshops and seminars to public works personnel. APWA comprises 30,000 public works officials located in 67 chapters across the U.S. and Canada. Their mission is to improve the quality of life by providing a forum for the development and exchange of ideas, information and technology. This forum enhances the delivery of public services by promoting the personal and professional growth of its members, and by advancing public works issues on the public agenda.
