Hooray for Hollywood! The gorgeous Mendocino Coast has been the locale of more than two dozen movies, from Johnny Belinda to Dying Young. This year, the Mendocino Coast Writers Conference's usual cast of outstanding writers and agents will be joined by some of Hollywood's most successful artists--

The annual Mendocino Coast Writers Conference is held at the College of the Redwoods in Fort Bragg, located on the Pacific Coast in the heart of California's redwood country, 150 miles north of San Francisco. Now in its ninth successful year, the MCWC brings together a wide range of editors, agents, published authors, and new writers in all genres. Both beginners and veterans interact in a friendly, informal setting of talks, workshops, and casual conversation, as well as individual critiques (optional).

The Mendocino Coast of northern California is noted for its spectacular scenery, superb wineries, hearty breweries, excellent restaurants, quaint bed & breakfast inns, and dynamic arts scene (visual, musical, and theatrical).
