Plant Physiology, BOT 3463, every spring. Prerequisite: BOT 1404 (Plant Biology). Plant Physiology Lab, BOT 3460, every spring. Prerequisite: Plant Physiology (BOT 3463) or concurrent enrollment. Plant Mineral Nutrition, BOT 5423, fall of odd numbered years. Prerequisite: Plant Physiology (BOT 3463). You need a login and password to access the web pages of my Plant Physiology classes. I'm happy to send you an e-mail with login and password, if you want to have a look. (Due to changes in the policy of the IT support of the College of Arts and Sciences I had to remove the Plant Mineral Nutrition Web pages from the server.) |
My group studies ion uptake and intracellular ion transport in higher plants. Our goal is to understand the molecular mechanisms of ion transport into (and out of) the large central vacuole. For this a combination of reverse genetic, biophysical (patch-clamp electrophysiology), and physiological approaches is applied. |
