Cell biology and molecular genetics: cell cycle
regulation and morphogenesis at the cellular and subcellular levels in Arabidopsis
thaliana. My goal in research is to understand the molecular mechanisms that underlie cellular and subcellular organization. Towards this end, I isolate and characterize novel mutants that have altered cellular morphology. Some particular areas of my research include chromosome behavior, dynamics of mitotic spindles, cell cycle progression, and stomatal development. |
