C Company, 7th Regiment Pershing Rifles

The Pershing Rifles is a national military fraternity open only to ROTC cadets. It seeks to encourage, preserve, and develop the highest ideals of the military profession, as exemplified by the life of General of the Armies, John J. Pershing. It specializes in excellence in drill and ceremonies.

What Does Pershing Rifles Offer?

Pershing Rifles can be many things since the individual Pershing Rifles companies decide what structure they will use and what activities they will pursue.

Pershing Rifles offers the opportunity to participate in drill team competitions. Competitive drill meets are sponsored throughout the country. Teams can compete in various classes ranging from one-person exhibitions to platoon drill.
Many Pershing Rifles companies field rifle teams and conduct both invitational and postal rifle marksmanship matches.
Most importantly, Pershing Rifles offers a sense of belonging and a social group for those sharing similar interests and united by common goals. Life-long friendships are developed in Pershing Rifles companies. Pershing Rifles sponsors many social functions. Additionally, Pershing Rifles members are widely recognized as being committed to developing their leadership potential to the fullest.
