Each school may enter only one team per event, and only those schools without a team in a given event may enter one or two individuals to compete for individual awards in that event. See the respective CDE's Guidelines below for specifications of what constitutes a team. Only those students who are competing will be allowed to participate in an event. No tools or supplies may be brought to the event, except as specified in the guidelines; all other necessary equipment will be supplied.
