In order to provide more challenging events that better reflect the trends in the horticulture industry and to meet the needs of Oklahoma's FFA youth and their instructors, the Oklahoma FFA Career Development Events (CDEs) in horticulture were changed to more closely resemble the National FFA CDEs. Floriculture CDE—2010

  • Although teams are welcome and encouraged to visit the OSU Teaching Greenhouses to study plant material, no admission will be permitted the week prior to the CDE.
  • Registration by 8AM Wednesday, April 14 , is required to participate in this event due to the cost of live materials and the setup time for online testing.

  • Floriculture CDE Team must consist of four students.
  • Date: Saturday, April 24, 2010
  • Time: 8:00 am, NOTE: Contestants arriving after 8:30 will not be able to participate in the contest.
