Course Catalog Description

Basic physical and physiological processes responsible for plant dormancy, growth, flowering, fruiting, and senescence with respect to the science and art of production, cultivation, utilization, and/or storage of horticultural plants. Current research associated with various horticultural commodity groups is also reviewed.

This course has been approved for Natural Sciences (N) and Scientific Investigation (L) general education credit at OSU.

This course is taught on-campus as a "hybrid" course AND via distance delivery as an "online" course.
