Environmental Science Club at OSU
The purpose of the Environmental Science Club is to stimulate interest in environmental science on the OSU campus; "to promote fellowship among students with environmental interests; to promote sound environmental policy at Oklahoma State University; and to provide the opportunity for leadership training among members."
At monthly meetings, students socialize with their classmates and others with similar environmental interests. The club hosts speakers who present students with opportunities available to them on campus and speakers who present experiences in the environmental career world. The club also is a Water Watch volunteer group and carpools monthly to Lake Carl Blackwell to test the water for the Oklahoma Water Resources Board.
